Chapter: English Literature During The Romantic Period

With the rest of his crew going mad with starvation and dehydration, the Mariner is thrilled when he sees a ship sailing towards them on the horizon. Then he pauses to worry that if that boat is moving, but his ISN'T, something supernatural may be at work. This is confirmed when he notices that the ship is literally a skeleton of ship, and thus not realistically seaworthy.

Sailing on this ghost ship is Life and Death, the latter of which is described as being quite the voluptuous dish, aside from the whole "unnaturally pale white skin" thing. And when I say she's white, I don't mean that she's a shade of apricot, I mean that she is WHITE. In any event, you can imagine how thrilled I was to add another lady god to the Lit Brick pantheon. The real question at hand, though: is this the Death we've met previously, or his bombshell sister? I offer you no real answers.

EDIT: So, apparently I misread the poem. It wouldn't be the first time Lit Brick was based on a false premise. But hey, being wrong has never stopped me before. Check out the comments below for the scoop.
