I honestly have no idea what's going on. Imagine watching poker on TV but having no concept of how the game is played. You can now roughly picture how I felt while reading this poem. I tried to find some clarification, and only got more confused. All I know now is that the highest cards in this game are called "Matadors," and that I desperately wanna start playing it with people right now.
